In 2020, husband and wife Tim and Laura, their son Toby and daughter Amy made their dream move from Staffordshire to North Devon. After falling in love with the unique, relaxing way of life, they set their hearts on finding a beautiful property to run holiday cottages and offer guests a special break. They landed on the stunning West Instaple and it's breathtaking surroundings and just knew they'd found the home for them! With our unique range of skills and qualifications, Amy being a fully qualified primary school teacher, Laura's amazing creative and culinary skills and Tim's outdoor vision and helpful people skills, we make the perfect team to ensure you have the perfect stay. Toby and Tim are also both ex National Hunt and flat jockeys and love nothing more than chatting about horse racing to guests who enjoy following the sport.

At West Instaple we also have some furry family members! Our two extremely friendly shetland ponies, Tilly and Teddy and our two super cute goats, Jar Jar (Rusty) and Bluey love meeting new friends and many of our young guests enjoy petting and playing with them!
