The popular seaside town of Bude and the picturesque village of Clovelly are both less than a twenty minute drive away. West Instaple is also perfectly located to visit a range of famous attractions, including Tintagel Castle, The Eden Project, War Horse Country Farm Park, RHS Garden Rosemoor, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the beautiful Tamar Lakes.

For those who enjoy fishing or outdoor water sports, Upper and Lower Tamar Lakes are in walkable distance of West Instaple (about a 1.5 mile walk). The surrounding country roads to West Instaple are very quiet for those who wish to explore the local surroundings. If you would like to explore the next local village, there is also a direct walking route to Sutcombe from West Instaple.

The local village of Bradworthy has many amenities including a friendly village pub, a post office, a fantastic butchers, doctors, vets and various local shops. Just under 7 miles away is the town of Holsworthy, which hosts a Waitrose and Co-op in addition to a range of shops. The popular seaside town of Bude is only 13 miles away, offering many large supermarket stores including Lidl, Sainsburys and Morrisons. If you enjoy tasting and using locally sourced produce, Little Pig Farm shop is also only a short drive away.
